The entire starting secondary is returning for the first time since 2000.
As the Colts prepare to move into their new home, owner Jim Irsay thinks everything will work out fine.
The Colts have signed LB Dedrick Harrington.
They have only five healthy linebackers, so the Colts have been playing a lot of nickel in practice.
With MLB Gary Brackett injured, LB Freddy Keiaho is becoming a leader.
QB Jared Lorenzen is expected to be the first guy off the bench after Jim Sorgi in the second preseason game.
There are only seven Colts who have been with the team longer than coach Tony Dungy.
The Colts expect QB Peyton Manning to be cleared to practice by the middle of the month.

Great work Florio. Why not just put the link to the Indianapolis Star at the tip and say read it yourself?

Lorenzen looked awful in the HOF Game, especially compared to Quinn Gray, who wasn’t bad. Both guys went from street free agent to playing in that game in the same short time frame.
This is one of the most interesting camp/preseason stories to follow, with hints of Manning being more hurt than the Colts are letting on, and with Jim Sorgi still rockin’ a 10 year old’s scrawny frame.

Unless he makes an incredible recovery, Manning will not start the first game of the season.

I would not be surprised that Polian’s whole gig is about letting everyone think Manning is going to play sooner than later. (Remember, he basically lied almost all last season saying Marvin was bruised) Then his secong goal is that Sorgi is a player to be a real leader.

Where the hell did you get “Unless he makes an incredible recovery, Manning will not start the first game of the season.”
He had a minor operation to remove a bursa sack from his knee, which takes 4-6 weeks with rehab. That timeframe would put him ready, if he was needed, for the third preseason game.
He’ll be ready well before the opener.
I’m guessing you are hoping your statement is true rather than knowing it’s true.
