In the latest and far-from-greatest PFTV segment, Florio and Brocato take a look at the AFC West for the 2008 season.
It’s a division with one clear-cut postseason favorite, one that could make it to the playoffs, one that could make it to .500, and one that could get everyone in the front office and coaching staff fired.

C’mon…Shanahan is NOT a good coach. He’s still getting credit for riding Elway’s coattails. Elway’s gone, what, 10 years? What have the Donkey’s done since?

I disagree SirSuperSouthern, the Raiders have plenty of talent now, on both sides of the ball. If the line can hold together and Walker is able to recapture the form that took him to the Pro Bowl, then I think this will lay the platform for the Running Backs to play well, taking pressure off of the Run Defense, forcing the opposition to pass against a formidable secondary. If it all goes well, 7-9 or even 8-8 could be a very possible outcome for the Raiders this year.

The Raiders gave $16 million guaranteed to a receiver with gimpy knees and a broken face who wants to quit the game. When your owner makes desperate moves like this, the team is destined to four or five wins, if you’re lucky.
The AFC West is the Chargers division. The other teams are just playing in it.

Shanahan has only averaged 10 wins per season while in Denver. Made it to the AFC Championship 3 seasons ago.
How can you think he is a bad coach. Elway played for 12-13 years without Shanahan and never won a superbowl. While on the other hand, Shanahan was working with Bill Walsh and Steve Young winning one. So who’s was riding who’s coattails?

denver fan = shanahan is good cause he got blown the hell out in an afc champ game in his own house
denver fan = norv turner sucks as chargers HC cause he lost a close game in the afc champ game at NE
