The injuries continue for the Seahawks defensive line.
Most recently, rookie defensive tackle Red Bryant, a fourth-round draft pick, will miss four or five weeks after undergoing knee surgery.
Other defensive linemen have missed time lately. Defensive end Patrick Kerney missed several days of practice with a calf strain before returning on Thursday. Defensive tackle Marcus Tubbs had knee surgery, and Rocky Bernard had surgery for a double hernia.

Even though this South Alaska team is completely over looked by the rest of the country and this site, you’re trying to see a problem where this is none. Kerney’s fine, Bernard has been practicing, and Tubb’s is suppose to start practicing next week…
If you really wanted to take a jab, and forecast doom for the Seahawks season you should have reported that they have had a back up guard playing center all week!

Ditto to what the Shaman says! I mean in the last month there were 6 stories about the Seahawks. There are probably 6 stories about Farve today.

Hey, Shaman guy.
Take a chill pill dude. Nobody is forecasting gloom and doom for your beloved team. (psst.. even though they will probably suck this year anyway).
I get irritated just like the next guy when Florio goes off on his incessant tangents and lets his hyper-spastic imagination get the best of him.
But for crying out loud it’s just a blurb about real things that really happened to real starters.
Lighten up and try sucking down of few less espressos up there in Seattle.
Or is it just that your just pissed because it’s raining again?

seahawks fans are in denial about their aging team and declining success…they will forever feel that as long as hasselbeck or however he spells his name, is still the QB they will be a dominant team….face the facts, your team is not the team of 3,4,5 years ago…every team has to rebuild and you guys are heading down that street…go down 16 blocks, i mean games, and the next offseason should take you right into rebuildingville

Yeah the Seahawks really suck even though they are tied with the Pats for best home record since 2003, and they have won their division for the last 4 years, and have been in the playoffs the last 4 years when just about every other NFC cant consistantly get to the playoffs, yeah they really suck. There is some real jackasses on the net, and comments like these prove it. They are going to win their division this year unless something catostrophic happens, and they will problably be the #1 or #2 seed in the NFC with the fact that the NFC east and North are going to beat the hell out of each other, and the NFC south continues to flounder, but you go ahead and say the Seahawks, blah, blah, blah, suck, lousy, whatever. And we Seahawks fans continue to enjoy success.
