Hall of Fame quarterback Warren Moon pleaded guilty to negligent driving today, resolving a December DUI arrest. He will apparently serve five days of electronically monitored home detention.
Moon’s sentence was 90 days in jail, but 88 of those days were suspended, and if he wants to (which we would assume he does) he can take five days of staying home without leaving instead of spending two days behind bars without leaving.
Moon was already on probation on another negligent-driving conviction stemming from an April 2007 DUI arrest. He has an upcoming hearing to determine whether this negligent-driving conviction violates the probation from the previous negligent-driving conviction.
After starting his pro career in Canada, Moon played for the Houston Oilers, Minnesota Vikings, Seattle Seahawks and Kansas City Chiefs. He currently works on the Seahawks’ radio broadcasts.

Have to do with Favre…it makes Favre’s look sober.
What’s it going to take? Does he need to kill someone before he spends some time behind bars for driving drunk all the time. This is the same loser that beat his wife. Put him behind bars!

Negligent Driving????? What happened to DUI? Does this seem right? If I was pulled over for DUI, I would be paying the DUI price, not Negligent driving. This is absolute BS for the Diva’s of the world.
Oh wait, this story hasn’t mention Favre. FAVRE>>>FAVRE>>>FAVRE!

Must be dinner time at the Florio household. No new Farve talk and its been over an hour. I need to know what he had for dinner. Also I think Murphy and Cook met today and called potential trade partners together. This way the new team can work on adjusting Farves contract before they trade for him. It does sound as though Skins are the darkhorse for Farve.

Let’s see…5 days of house arrest or 2 days of jail…hmmmmmm…
To quote Joe Pesci in “My Cousin Vinny”:
“This is a tough decision here. Get my ass kicked or collect $200. Let me think… I could use a good ass-kickin’, I’ll be very honest with you… nah, I think I’ll just go with the two hundred.”

Well, for all you kids paying attention, the punishment for repeated DUI is being grounded for five days.*
* Oh,only if you are rich and famous. For the rest of you, it means pleading guilty, dealing with your problems, and likely prison.
Lucky he didn’t kill someone. He might have gone to bed without supper.

THE 5 MOST OVERRATED QUARTERBACKS EVER
2. Warren Moon (1984-2000)
See “Dan Fouts” and “Sunshine Superman” above. We touched on Moon last week in our look at all-time passer rating leaders. You can look there for all the reasons why Moon (No. 36 on the all-time passer rating list) is not, and never was, a Hall of Fame-caliber quarterback: mediocre efficiency numbers, poor playoff performances and a record-setting case of fumble-itis.

I am confused, someone please explain what the point of probation is if you violate it and yet are still on probation?I thouht when you got probation it lasted untill your sentance was up or if you got into to trouble while on it you did your time.so how does driving drunk while on probation for the same offense not violate the probation?
