Ravens offensive lineman Adam Terry, who moved to left tackle when Jared Gaither suffered an ankle injury, has suffered an ankle injury, too.
Terry was carted off the field with what has been described to us as a sprained ankle during practice on Tuesday.
Writes Mike Preston of the Baltimore Sun: “Now starting at left tackle for the Ravens is Mike Kracalik, who has spent the past two seasons on the practice squad. And starting at right tackle is Oniel Cousins, a rookie out of UTEP who should be on the practice squad. If the Ravens have to start these two players, cancel Christmas. They’ll be lucky to win three or four games.”

Mike Preston better check himself before saying the ravens are going to put a 3rd round draft pick on the practice squad. That’s borderline insanity.
so both your starting OT’s are out with ankle sprains and you have 5 weeks to go before week 1 of the nfl season?
nothing to panic about……..yet

“McGahee up the middle…for no gain.”
Florio is starting to get flaccid. His pre-season ‘I really think they could be great’ is starting to look, well, just like they should (3 or 4 games).

Not time time to panic, but this is a serious concern even before they got hurt.
The good thing is the 3rd round pick Cousins, and 4th year practice squad Krackalacka rigth or left tackle, is not as bad as the average bear 3rd tackle. These 2 young guys are big as some real bears though, and can use some extra reps if they will be the backups this year.
This early in camp though, the chances of grabbing a decent journeyman are very good with or without giving up a draft pick.
We may even see a quality QB fall into the flock from the Brett Favre fall ott. If he goes to TB there has got to be one or two of 12 QBs available before the season starts.
“”"”Florio is starting to get flaccid”"”? I don’t know about all that, but the jokes are just not funny/ neccecary/ appropriate or appreciated, by me at least. He barley bothers to cut and paste articles from the local rag and then has the nerve to drop a dopey one liner in about a team he could not possibly know beyond the headline names.
In some articles he picks the Ravens to crash the playoffs, then he picks them to win 3 games an 3.5 ppg.
Get all your Bungle and Clown predictions on the record. Under rate the roster most loaded with Hawwaaii vetrans along with young first round 2nd 3rd and 4th year players that have shown the potential of previous purple picks. Undrafted and under rated starters like the Mad Backer, who by the way is out for payback like some sort of cheesy hollywood hitman flick. Hines Ward better fake another injury when they match up, and Ben is going to go back to that dark, place when the Hot Sauce is re applied to back of his numbers.
Bttomline, the roster that won 13 games in 2006 is not all retired and run down. Most of the core players return from injury, and the risky rundown players have been replaced by respectable rookies like Rice and Zibo, Gooden and Flacco. We going to rise and conquer the division despite the texpert predction, like the last time we had a healthy collection of offensive and defensive double team busters.

This wouldn’t be as big of a problem if Chris Chester didn’t suck
Than we could plug in Yanda at RT where he played well last season and move Jason Brown to RG.
Pretty dire but I really, really doubt a project like Kracalik starts any games. He was horrible anytime he saw the field.
Cousins will start before he does…
Preston is a fat moron, Gaither’s injury is pretty minor.. why would both Krac and Cousins start?
