Once the Jets inked linebacker Vernon Gholston, the No. 6 overall pick in the 2008 draft, it was a no-brainer that the Chiefs and No. 5 overall pick Glenn Dorsey would get together on a deal.
As we recently noted, Dorsey’s agent, Joel Segal, has a reputation of waiting until the guys picked just before and just after his first-round clients agree to terms.
And so with Gholston signing on Friday, Dorsey is now done, according to the Kansas City Star. Terms weren’t available. Until they are, we suggest finding the midpoint between the Gholston contract and the deal signed by running back Darren McFadden at No. 4.

Further proof that King Carl is no longer running the show in KC. All of the Chiefs draft picks are signed and in camp except for the 7th round pick.
