Despite missing Saturday morning’s practice with a swollen knee and after undergoing an MRI on the previously injured joint, Saints running back Deuce McAllister returned to action for the afternoon practice.
FOX 40 of Jackson, Mississippi has the info on McAllister’s performance at the second Saturday session.
McAllister suffered a torn ACL in his left knee during a September 2007 loss to the Titans. Saturday’s MRI on the left knee was negative.
In 2005, McAllister tore his right ACL during garbage time against the Packers. He rushed for 1,057 yards in 2006.
