The Lions don’t have a single 300-pound defensive lineman.
DE Jared DeVries is a starter now, but he knows he’ll face competition.
Said DT Cory Redding of the defensive line’s approach, “We don’t think run first. We always think pass.”
Coach Rod Marinelli wants the team to cut down on penalties.
The roster has been shaped to Marinelli’s liking.
Four players — G Edwin Mulitalo, S Daniel Bullocks, WR Shaun McDonald and TE Dan Campbell are on the physically unable to perform list.
CB Leigh Bodden has two impressive interceptions in the first two days of camp.
Said rookie LB Jordon Dizon of what he did while skipping the first day of camp, “I spent $120 on gas yesterday driving around Dearborn because I had nothing to do with my life.”
Of his drunk driving arrest, Dizon said, “It was more embarrassing than you can possibly imagine. It’s not the kind of guy I am. I hardly ever drink. It’s really tough, especially for the people who know me.”
After 30 years covering the Lions for the Detroit News, Mike O’Hara is retiring.

So Bodden had two INT’s…is that supposed to be good for him, or is it really bad for the QBs?…
