A month ago, Bucs cornerback Aqib Talib was using his hands to fend off teammate Corey Boyd at the rookie symposium. Now, Talib is using one of his hands to sign his first contract.
According to Adam Schefter of NFL Network, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have agreed to terms with Talib.
It’s a five-year, $14 million deal including $8.2 million in guaranteed money.

I played football with Aqib at Berkner HS (GO RAMS!!!). Way to go, despite all the stories he’s a great guy, very versatile and one hell of a competitor. He’s going to become a great pick up for the Bucs.

Hey Florio,
You missed a pretty big story, I think anyways, in that Talib’s scufflemate from the symposium was cut today. Check it out, it is the very last thing mentioned in the article.

Boyd being released is not a shocker, as he was a 7th round pick and failed his physical. If he goes unclaimed through waivers he will revert back to the Buc’s injured reserve list.
