The Atlanta Falcons have announced that they have agreed to terms with tackle Sam Baker, the 21st overall pick in the 2008 draft.
The Falcons traded back into round one in order to land Baker. The former USC lineman wasn’t expected to be a first-round selection.
Baker is the son of AFL Commissioner David Baker, who unexpectedly resigned his position on Friday after a dozen years on the job.

Good job Birds, who also signed Lofton today as well, getting all draft picks in before their practice starts. I bet one of them will be a really good player.
Hint: Not Baker.
