Only about 12 hours after the agent for Lions rookie Jordon Dizon said talks had hit a wall and the Lions said they weren’t budging, Dizon has now signed a contract.
“It’s done, it’s signed,” agent Peter Schaffer said.
An undersized but athletic linebacker from Colorado, Dizon missed the first three practices of training camp. But he is scheduled to report to the Lions’ facilities today.
Dizon was arrested and charged with drunk driving just six days before the NFL draft, an arrest the Lions didn’t learn about until a newspaper wrote a story about it two months later.

Let it be known that Boulder cops in CO are only concerned with pulling people over and charging DUI’s not solving or catching criminals. Furthermore, almost 70% of ALL alcohol related citations including DUI are thrown out of court.
These cops are out of control and need to get a life.

Hey, good news Lions fans!
On a sidenote, I couldn’t help but laugh at the quotes by Peter Schaffer on this article as well as tne one from earlier today:
Negotiations have “Smacked right into the wall, I am headed home.”
“It’s done, it’s signed”
Very concise.
