Only about 12 hours after the agent for Lions rookie Jordon Dizon said talks had hit a wall and the Lions said they weren’t budging, Dizon has now signed a contract.

It’s done, it’s signed,” agent Peter Schaffer said.

An undersized but athletic linebacker from Colorado, Dizon missed the first three practices of training camp. But he is scheduled to report to the Lions’ facilities today.

Dizon was arrested and charged with drunk driving just six days before the NFL draft, an arrest the Lions didn’t learn about until a newspaper wrote a story about it two months later.
