To my new friend LouieDogg213: Not quite sure what language you're speaking or what illegal drug(s) you're obviously on, but something tells me that you're probably not a member of high society (or Mensa, for that matter). As for your critique of the east coast - very interesting. Because when I lived in LA, I kinda remember something called smog, and wildfire smoke, and mudslide filth, and winos, and earthquake damage. But I'm sure you've never experienced any of that up in your Beverly Hills mansion - or from being in a drug-induced stupor most of your life. You certainly make a fine member of Cowboy Nation. Don't stop pretending, bro!

The thing is, Larry Fitzgerald re-did his deal so that they wouldn't be paying him 32 million in base salaries over the next two years. I imagine this freed up cap room. Why not negotiate with one of the best wide receivers in the game? The guy is a team captain. We never see him on the police blotter. Why not keep the nucleus together? Oh wait...that's the Cardinals.

As much as I want to see it, there's no way that the Cards trade him to the division foe 49ers. We can dream...

JBrudero:
Not sure if you paid attention last year, but the Eagles, in hobbled form, lost to the Packers on 2 muffed kicks, beat the Cowboys once, beat the Vikings, beat the Saints, and only lost to the Seahawks cuz of an AJ Feeley interception in the end zone with < 10 seconds left.

Granted, that was last year.

So you were kind of right about I where I am or should be...kinda but kinda like the She-Girls almost kinda won the Super Bowl. Que no? Anyway I have to applaud your loyalty to your "team" I guess you need something to look forward to while living in that excrement stain of a city known as Philly, anyway I wish you luck and I'll see you Monday night 9/15 PAHT-NA! Oh and that fart smell? That would be the entire Eastern Seaboard my friend. The way I understand it the brim of the sh*t bowl begins right around Foxborough and runs all the way down to Florida, the great cesspool. It's funny you can pick out the East Coast transplants here in Big Los by their pastiness, sh*t smell and the lil' flys just twirlin' 'round and 'round like lil She-Girls.....QUE VIVA THE GREAT AMERICAN SOUTHWEST COWBOYS COUNTRY BABY!!!!!

This has to be one of the most toothless threats of all time. Threatening to play three more years before leaving? By that time the Cards will either have fulfilled their promise to finally break into the playoffs, or the team will be "blowed" up as yet another Bidwill failure.

Someone please explain to me how the Eagles will dominate the NFC? These NFC teams are better than them... (in no particular order)
1) Cowboys
2) Giants
3) Vikings
4) Seahawks
5) Packers
6) Saints
7) Bucs

So all the Eagles have to do is to somehow leap frog all of those teams, hope McNabb plays a full season for the first time in 3 years, and hope no one gets hurt.

Unfortunatly I live in Philadelphia and have to listen to their fans constantly and even most people around here don't think they are going to make the playoffs. They think maybe they will contend for a wild card spot because their schedule is a joke but other than that most people think they are anywhere from 7-9 to 10-6. Oh wait McNabb thinks that they are the team to beat this season and "a lot of people are picking the Eagles to win the NFC" I'm not sure what sites he's reading but I haven't found a single person picking them to win the NFC.

LouieDogg213: I've got this sixth sense whereby I can smell fraud Cowboys fans out like a fart in the car. I bet you live somewhere in the Philadelphia area but pretend like you're from the Big D(ump) for your football team. Do yourself and everyone around you a huge favor -move about 1,300 miles to the southwest where you belong, loser.

louiedogg.. reggie brown + kevin curtis = (maybe) Patrick Crayton? You are certifiably insane. Seriously, what asylum did you just escape from? Enjoy another 1st rd. playoff exit w/ retard romo behind center. 2 years ago it was Romo's fumbled snap. Out goes Parcells cause he couldn't take it any more... dealing w/ a bunch of losers. And last year... Cowboys earn the top seed in the NFC and Romo is too busy chasing Jessica Simpson's bergina down in Mexico instead of preparing for the Giants. I am really going to enjoy watching the Eagles dominate the NFC this year. Everyone is underestimating them and I have no doubt they have all the pieces they need on offense and defense to win the SuperBowl. Barring a lot of major injuries they will do it. Suck it Cowboys!

I can't stand how every topic about a WR possibly coming available has to involve the Eagles. The Eagles are not going to get Boldin. How hard is this to figure out? The Eagles are going to have to give more money to Westbrook, Andrews, and I'm sure someone else will be pissed about their contract once they realize how vastly underpaid they are. Andrews making $900k next year is an absolute joke.

Also Eagle fans need to understand that noone wants Lito, if they did he would have been gone by now. His whole contract situation isn't attractive at all to other teams. Lito would require a new contract if traded and no one wants to do that for him.

@louiedogg,,,

Jerry Jones will run out of Oil Money after he signs Chris Henry and Loverman Choke Artist QB Tony Romo (hahahahahaha..). Then the Eagles will sign Boldin. But that's next year. Let's talk about this year.

Coach "Bums Boy" Phillips and Romeo Romo will team up to deliver another Big Let Down in Big D. They will go 10-6 with 0-1 in the playoffs. Sorry Doggie... No Supe for You!!! See you in the regular season!!!

Gotta love the cowgirl fans. JJ is creating an all-TURD team. Meanwhile he is still trying to prove that it was all about him and not about Jimmy Johnson. He is an ego maniacal jackass whose only counterpart in the league as stupid as he is the Danny (that's Mr. Snyder to you.) The best part about him owning the Cowgirls is that their likelihood of winning it all sucks as long as he thinks he knows more about football than his paid professionals. Meanwhile he needs to make sure he doesn't smile too much. His face will crack. His plastic surgeon made him too tight.

footballrules:
care to put an actual wager on that bet, that the Eagles will win the NFC east, AND win the superbowl?

I'll take the field on both of those bets.

Yea right...he's leaving...Ahahahahahahahaha!!!!

Like he'll remember this in 3 years...

Cards will eventually give him some bonus money like Chicago did with Brian. So get your greedy hands out of our pockets...

There is NO WAY the Cards trade Boldin...He's a leader on and off the field. He should get more cash, but the Cards don't have it right now. We currently have around 5 mill left on the cap which will be saved in case of injuries.

Philly - can't believe you guys are still riding this pipe dream

Dallas - I hate ya'll...always have...always will

Tampa - yea right...so McClown can throw him the ball...

He'll be resigned within the next two years...so ya'll can relax.

footballrules ... tsk, tak pal I do know what I speak of. Yeah your team had a very solid 2nd half last year but your run of "domination" is near the end. You couldn't cut it under the bright lights of the big time and those lights and opportunities are fading fast. Seriously Reggie Brown and Kevin Curtis? Pss..they add up to maybe Patrick Crayton. Bringin' up the Cowboys "Bad Boys"?? You got anything new to come with? It wasn't our coach that raised a couple scum bag hoodrat kids or our owner who let arguably the best WR of his generation go 'cause he was being frugal...yeah buddy keep your team and your cheapo owner and enjoy the upcoming stink at the Linc..GO COWBOYS...

the eagles are becoming highly overrated this offseason.

unless Desean Jackson is the second coming, they Eagles offense still needs playmakers. asante samuel is a good add,but the eagles problem wasn't CB it was at SS where they don't have anyone worth mentioning.

the best the eagles will do is 10-6,and knowing McNabbs injury history he'll get hurt sooner or later and the Kevin Kolb era will start.

and your pro-bowl guard is skipping training camp as well.

"Paging Mike Nolan..."

It would be awesome to solve the 49ers receiver woes with one fell swoop. Boldin a solid #1 and Bruce/Battle a decent complement. Davis left with no excuse but to perform and Gore possibly back to form with a decent OC. Then the million dollar question is Alex Smith, and like I have stated previously I think Smith is better than given credit for given the different offenses...it would be a nice experiment to finally seal the deal whether the niners can be good or bust. If the latter, then fire the lot of them because they would have no excuse at the specialty positions. I think this could be a difference maker if the O-line can step up. (Take pity, I just want some excitement back)

nnagi08: Don't you think the cards would rather explore getting those 2 #1s while they maybe still can rather than milk the diminising services of a poor morale player?

P.S. I htink the niners would be a better team with Boldin than Favre, not that it's being considered.

LouieDogg213.... you have no idea what you are talking about. Of course, that should be expected since you are in fact a Cowboy fan. The Eagles will rule and dominate the NFC this year. Have fun rooting for all your turds. Pac-Man, Tank, TO.... please! I'd much rather have Jeff Lurie as an owner of my favorite franchise than Jerry Jones. The Westbrook deal will get done. And the Eagles will finally break through and claim that long awaited Super Bowl Championship. Boldin to the Cowboys? Yeah, right... Chris Henry is more like it. Mark my words. They'll cut Terry Glenn and sign another turd in Chris Henry. Typical Cowboys...

i left something out...shame on him agreeing to the contract extension he signed in 2005, these players are ridiculous anymore with their salary demands...they should put their money where their mouths are & sign a contract for the minimum salary loaded w/incentives & go year to year...they greedily accept these signing bonuses & then treat it like last year's salary

the cardinals will stiff him by letting him play out his contract since the #'s are very manageable & then let him leave via free agency after they franchise him an additional year, by that point it'll be 2012 & he'll probably have lost a step & not have the value he has today, oh well!!!

Fade 2 Black HAHAHAHAHA! Yeah right! Boldin'will be sportin' the almighty silver and blue. Lurie is too much of cheapskate to make that move. We all know Mr' Jones knows how to take care of his 'Boys. You should stop mentally masturbating to Boldin' and prepare to say bye-bye to Westbrook. Lurie should never have let it get this far with Westbrook....typical She-Girls move or more accurately non-move...GO COWBOYS!!!!

I agree completely, with what they paid Fitz, it will be impossible to keep Boldin.

I have a sneaky suspicion that Boldin and Fitz aren't the best of friends, otherwise the two (and their agents) would have realized that they would both need to play for slightly less than they are worth in order to remain together and possibly build a championship receiving corp.

Toss in the Cardinal's history of failure, and you can't expect the two to coexist financially.

Well, would Boldin have been happier if they extended him a $5-6 million a season, and then granted Fitz his $40 million deal?

I doubt it.
