Agent Drew Rosenhaus has two clients on the Cardinals who aren’t happy with their contracts. That might sound like bad news for Arizona.
But Rosenhaus says both players — wide receiver Anquan Boldin and defensive tackle Darnell Dockett — will be there when the team opens training camp Wednesday.
“Anquan is not the type of guy to hold out,” Rosenhaus said. “He’s a very principled guy. It’s just not in his makeup.”
Rosenhaus referred to Dockett as “a man who is going to honor his commitment to come to camp.”
Boldin has three years left on his current deal and Dockett has four, so the Cardinals don’t appear to be in any hurry to re-do either player’s contract. Ultimately, the team has the leverage here, and the players appear to know that.

Do you think Rosenhaus is finally figuring out that throwing temper tantrums does not help get new contracts, but showing up and being agood teammate does? Naaaah.

Reporter: So Drew, does that mean that anyone who does hold out doesn’t have principles?
Drew: Next question!

You idiots…there is NO CHANCE the Cardinals trade him to the Eagles or any other team….let it go. We have no need for Lito…plus why would we get a guy that needs a new deal…that’s what we want to avoid.
Let me be as simple as I can…you didn’t get Fitzgerald and you won’t get Boldin….move on.

I think it’s hilarious that Rosenhaus is eternally linked to The Eagles. This post was about The Arizon Cardinals.

Sure, they’ll show up, and they’ll even give 100 % for the first or maybe second play and then, OH NO! they’ll tweak their Steve-Smith-I-want-a-new-contract muscle in their hammy.

Dockett just signed an extension not to long ago and needs to cut down on stupid penalties before he gets a new one. Boldin needs to stay healthy to get a big fat contract, but I agree, he does need a little more cash than what he is making.

Just in case anyone got Drew & Anquan mixed up.

Dockett has very few dumb penalties…get your facts right. He is one of the few players in the NFL who got paid then lived up to his contract…he played above his contract. Dockett tried a simple ploy to get some more cash…it didn’t work…he’ll be at camp and he’ll play like the beast that he is.
As far as Q - Boldin is going to get a ‘bonus’ similar to what Brian Urlacher got. He just has to wait . The Cards only have 2-3 mill available after they sign DRC (our 1st round pick). That money has to be saved for the remainder of the year in case of injuries.
Neither will get new deals this year…Q will get a bonus no matter what next year…Dockett has no chance of getting another penny even if he makes the pro bowl.
Drew - he’s playing PR for his guys…that’s it.
Good news Eagles fans - you’ll get to see both Fitz and Q live on Thanksgiving Day.
