In a recent visit to the studios of Sirius NFL Radio, receiver Plaxico Burress made an impression.
Though not quite as audacious as, say, pooping in a hamper, Burress defaced an expensive leather chair that celebrates the Patriots’ three Super Bowl wins.
Specifically, Burress left his John Hancock on the white leather portion of the backrest, with the inscription “XLII Champs!”
Here’s the photographic evidence.
Maybe the Pats’ rallying cry for 2008 will now be, “We must protect this seat!”

Please, Pats fan, no more “class” talk. Your coach is the biggest baby/sorest loser in the world. There is no amount of disrespect that could be heaped upon that organization that would not be 100% deserved. Your ill gotten asterisk trophys are meaningless to everyone outside of New England, and even this Cowboys fan exploded with glee watching the Giants rip you a new a$$ in the SB.

Yes he has no class but “cheap shot” Vince Wilfork, “Hgh” Harrison, Ellis Hobbs, Brandon “cleat stomp”Meriweather, and Bill “Bellicheat” do? Hahhahaha pat fans didn’t even exist 7 years ago so they should not be complaining! Go jump on another bandwagon.

My question is, whose chair is it?
If it belongs to a big Pats fan who works there and bought it with their own money, that could be a prized possession. And to have someone scribble all over it would devalue the personal meaning of it.
But then again, it’s just a chair (and most likely if it’s the Sirus NFL radio studio, just one of many team-related items that is given to them as gift from vendors and team reps). Geez it’s not really a bold statement like going to the Patriots home office and defacing any official Super Bowl memorabilia.
So it was either an a-hole move, or a meaningless joke. Not really worth writing about.

yeah Cheedburger fool the pats are on the decline…did you already forget that they won every game on their schedule last year? If thats decline then I cant wait to see what they do this year.
…and the only reason it was a weak division was because the Pats own it!

That’s a funny video.
As has been stated, it’s really hilarious to see the reaction of Pats fans to this. It’s like they haven’t got over losing in the last minute via Plax game winning TD catch. He guaranteed the win! Namath is the last NFL player I can recall making good on a Super Bowl guarantee. Simply amazing!

Rob_West, what makes you think that people on pro FOOTBALL talk give a flying frig about baseball(my form of Ambien the sleep aid). Why does anyone on a football message board give a crap about a bunch of people who spend 95% of their time either standing on grass and doing nothing or sitting on a bench and doing nothing? If you want to talk about something more exciting than baseball, start a message board about snots drying on a wall. Never have, never will, and at no point in my life will I ever give a flying frig about a bunch of pansies whose idea of a tough guy is standing 90 feet away from someone and throwing a little ball at their head to show how tough they think they are. On top of the fact that another 95% of them don’t even speak english. And if someone does confront them about their 90 feet away attack on them when they get there they look like 10 girl scouts arguing about who sold the most cookies at a bake sale you asswipe!!!! Besides, Fagway Park smells like a friggin nursing home!!!!!!

Yeah that tuff division. The other teams won one game outside their conference. One. Just like the one the Pats can’t win without cheating. Yes, on the decline. How many more records will they set this year only to not make to or in the big game? When was the last time they won a sb? Live in the past. Keep those dreams alive. 2nd place is first place of the rest of the losers. Go get ya caa out of the yad and deliver the pizza.

Burriss is just like another ex-steeler, Porter, open mouth insert foot! Why would Burriss sign a chair that had the 3 superBowls the Pats won? If that were my chair, Big Bucks Burriss would be buying me a new one! Had the chair had SB 42 Champs, I could see it!
Otherwise, I see this as grafiti. Willfull distruction of personal property! Burriss has how many rings? He doesn’t practice, yet he wants more money? He dinged up all the time. Hobbs had an ongoing injury and couldn’t get it done in the SB! Hobbs 5′9″ vs. Burriss 6′4″ wins a jump ball! Now he’s Randy Moss, I don’t think so!
