After failing to trade for Bengals receiver Chad Johnson, the Redskins opted instead to spend two second-round draft picks.
Last week, the team signed receiver Malcolm Kelly. A league source tells us that, as of this morning, an agreement was reached with Devin Thomas.
It’s a four-year deal, with a $2.7 million signing bonus. The total value on the deal is $4.833 million.
Thomas and Kelly both were regarded as potential first-round picks. However, no receiver was drafted in round one, for the first time since 1990.

Kelly & Thomas could be a nice 1-2 punch down the road.

” The total value on the deal is $4.833 million.”
Isn’t 4.833 the same time he had in the 40.

Now, if we can just wake up Fred Davis, all the picks will be signed and in camp on time!

Having these both signed should give some solid benchmarks to teams waiting to sign the other second-round wide receiver picks.
