There are rumors on the NFL grapevine that Jaguars receiver Jerry Porter might have a hamstring injury, which might keep him out for a month, or longer.

It’s just a rumor at this point.  We’ve got no corroboration or verification or any of the other stuff that separates “real” media from joints like this. 

It could be right, it could be wrong.  But since it involves a fairly innocuous subject (unlike, for example, a rumor that Porter or, say, Terry Bradshaw had died), we’ve got no qualms about putting it out there.

Porter was a high-profile free-agent acquisition of the Jags.  He spent his entire career prior to that with the Raiders.
