Eagles RB Brian Westbrook hasn’t ruled out a holdout.
Bucs RB Cadillac Williams is expected to open camp on the PUP list.
The Jets have signed QB Erik Ainge, a fifth-round pick in the 2008 draft.
The Ravens expect second-round RB Ray Rice to be in camp on time.
The guy who never spoke is working on a Hall of Fame speech.

The Niners and the Raiders will spend some time together in Napa. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that.)
The Cowboys have inked CB Orlando Scandrick to a four-year contract.
Should Tony Romo’s postseason pedigree be cause for concern?
The Giants have formally begun to roll out their PSL plan.
It’s year ten of the Andy Reid regime.
The Eagles anticipate getting their last two draft picks signed soon.
Long-time Redskins assisant coach Don Breaux has retired for health reasons.
It’s Glastnost in Motown.
In addition to third-round LB Dan Connor, the Panthers also have signed seventh-round DE Hilee Taylor.
Former Chargers QB Drew Brees is still doing good deeds in the San Diego area.

Peyton Mannings playoff pedigree was 0 for 3 before having success. The kid has had the job 1.5 years. He made the playoffs in a year the Cowboys had giving up. He made the pro bowl 2 times in 1.5 seasons. How about giving him a chance to fail before speculating on him being a failure.

Holy crap, Romo has had one full season as a starter. Kinda early to bury him for playoff losses. Hell Peyton Manning lost three playoff games before he finally won one and he had Edge James and Marvin Harrison.

I’ve never been a Philly fan ever, actually far from it, but I’ve always admired and respected Andy Reid and the ridiculous job he’s done with the Eagles. I think it’s a shame people boo him or crap on his personal life. Any team would be lucky to have such a great coach and man on their team.

Brian Westbrook shouldn’t HAVE to hold out. He should just be given a new contract. 4 years 30 Million with 15 million guaranteed.

Couple of Commentaries on That:
Since the Niners and Raiders are spending time together (ain’t nothin’ wrong with that, either), I thought maybe Brady Quinn might want to travel west just to hang out and stuff…

THat is what makes it soo sad. All the promises of what that town could be and should be celebrated for should make it a tourist destination. Instead, it’s motto should be,” Come visit Philadelphia. THe birthplace of freedom and the death place of “Insert visitors name here”"

Tony Romo’s post-season pedigree? Ask Michael Irvin, the expert on which ancestor in Romo’s pedigree genetically enabled Romo’s talents.

Typical Cowboy fan “logic”: celebrate (ad nauseum) the regular season accomplishments where apparently experience is irrelevant and then make excuses for the post-season futility where experience is crucial. Oh and by the way, the Colts were and are a one man team - Peyton Manning. This is quite a different dynamic than that of Romo. Compare the Cowboy defense the past 2 years to that of the Colts during Manning’s playoff losses - not even close. All the pressure was on Manning to win playoff games basically by himself. All Romo had to do was perform like he did during the regular season and Dallas wins a few rounds. But he couldn’t do it. I guess it only then dawned on him that he was too inexperienced. Lame.

So stupid are we Turk to not give a guy a real chance. How bout not having regular season success but being the best playoff QB ever? Well we would never know because no regular season success equals no playoffs. But we will hear from you in January eating the same doo doo you talk. Suck it.
