On Wednesday, word broke that the Green Bay Packers believe that the Minnesota Vikings tampered with quarterback Brett Favre.

On Thursday, the Vikings refused to talk about the situation.

Vikings spokesman Bob Hagan said that the team is “not commenting on the issue,” and that “[t]hese types of matters are handled by the league.”

Meanwhile, John Clayton of ESPN.com reports that the Packers believe that they have a strong case (hmmm . . . that sounds familiar).  Clayton also says that one source suggested that Favre might have had a conversation with Vikings coach Brad Childress.  (That sounds familiar, too.)

At this point, it’s unclear how things will unfold.  For more analysis of it, we present a PFTV segment.
