Our buddy Todd Wright of Sporting News Radio has alerted us to an item in the Indianapolis Star regarding the Colts’ new stadium, which opens next month.
Some of the seats have, to put it mildly, an obstructed view. Who designed the place, a drunken fifth-grader?

It’s good PR…The Colts are rumored to be giving away free tickets to a local charity….the local chapter for the National Institute for the Blind. Always thinking outside the box……

The “Colts Fans” won’t mind - they just sell their tickets to visitors anyways… now they get a kick out of screwing over the visiting teams’ fans.

they are only going to see peyton, no need to see the field plus the crowd noise is all piped-in so the fans dont actually have to participate.

“Thanks to pillars located in each of the four corners, Colts officials say there are about 200 partially-obstructed seats at the new football stadium, and even fewer seats that are totally obstructed - which the team says won’t be sold for games.”
“Larry Hall, the vice president of ticket operations for the Colts, said those totally-obstructed seats are not part of the ticket program and will never be sold for a football game.”
“The partically-obstructed seats will be sold, but not as a season ticket and only after all other tickets are sold.”
So they’re not going to sell them but they are? Ha, ha… Greed!

This is inexcusable… Dan Snyder pulled this shit five years ago when he added hundreds of extra seats to the lower level without mentioning that 30-50% of the field view was obstructed. Hopefully these seats come at a HUGE discount.

Ideal seats for the University of Minnesota’s new stadium! Why see the action? We’ll only get upset.

That is probably the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. The guy who designed that stadium probably got paid a ton of money to put it together. Its nice to know that every one of us would have known better than to put a huge ass column there or install rows of seats right in front of it
