Last year I can remember only 2 completions over 35 yards, and one came on the very first Giants series of the very first game of the season. Hamlin helping the CB's out over the top was a big part of that, so hopefully if Dallas can keep denying the deep ball and get better at playing the short ball (with the addition of Zach Thomas, Adam Jones, Mike Jenkins, Orlando Scandrick) by improving ILB'er coverage and nickel back play (goodbye, Jacques Reeves!) Dallas should not only finish in the top 10 in overall defense again this year, it could very well finish #1.
