The Arizona Cardinals have announced that they have reached an agreement with receiver Early Doucet, the team’s third-round pick in the 2008 draft.
Doucet signed a three-year deal; many teams require third-round picks to commit for four seasons.
The former LSU standout was projected by some experts to be a possible first-round pick. In the end, no receivers were selected in round one of the 2008 draft.
The Cards have signed all but two of their rookie draft picks. Players yet to agree to terms are first-round cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and second-round defensive end Calais Campbell.

Good pick for the Cards. Early Doucet has a lot of talent.

Hey Mr. Mike,
Doucet would look good in Eagle Green. But so would Anquan Boldin!

All three of those guys were projected to be first round picks at one time or another. I might add that they were pretty much household names to people who follow college football. Not too bad of a draft, Arizona.
