The Tennessee Titans have signed fourth-round draft pick Stanford Keglar, the first Titans draft pick to sign with the team.  No financial details were disclosed.

“He wanted to show the Titans and the community how excited he was to play here,” agent Jeff Chilcoat told the Tennessean.

Keglar, a linebacker from Purdue, will probably not earn a spot in the starting lineup as a rookie, but he is expected to make immediate contributions on special teams.

Keglar was arrested in May of 2007 on charges stemming from a bar fight; he later agreed to perform 20 hours of community service in exchange for having those charges dropped.
