The hits just keep on coming for Brandon Marshall of the Broncos.
CompleteColorado.com is reporting that the receiver was ticketed on June 12th for making an illegal lane change and driving without either a license or proof of insurance. The site requested a copy of the citation from the Denver Office of Safety but were told that it “could compromise the prosecution and Mr. Marshall’s right to a fair trial” in his ongoing DUI case. According to the case history posted online, he’s due to be arraigned on July 24th, the same day the Broncos open training camp.
Admittedly, a traffic infraction is picayune when compared to the DUI and myriad domestic violence charges. Marshall’s inability to stay on the right side of the police, however, isn’t all that trivial and will surely come to the attention of Roger Goodell when he considers whether or not to punish Marshall.

On behalf of Raider Nation, let me just say……..BWHAHAHAHA.
This guy is so talented! What a waste!
Couldn’t have happened to a better guy…the only man in the NFL who could win a staring contest with Reche Caldwell…ladies and gentleman, Mike Shanahan!

If the Broncos are willing to let Travis Henry go because of a lack of commitment, wouldn’t this turd fall into that category as well?
Also:
I think Jerry Jones needs to get Chris Henry and Pacman Marshall to agree to a boxing match. Winner gets to play for Dallas, loser gets to hang with Bam Morris and Mike Vick.

It’s funny that people call this guy Baby T.O.
This guy couldn’t hold T.O.’s jock.
Not that I’m a big T.O. fan but in all his trials and tribulations he’s never done the stupid s**t that this Joker from UCF has done. Plus T.O. actually puts up numbers!!!
Brandon Marshall, Michael Clayton, Mike Williams, and Matt Jones, you guys are all invited to Peter Warrick’s pool party…

Actually in California at least driving with a license suspended for DUI is a mandatory jail sentence - only a few days - even though a first time DUI is usually a fine and probation with no jail time. So it is not considered trivial by the court.
If you remember it is what actually landed Paris Hilton in jail and not the underlying DUI.

Minor traffic infractions don’t bother me and to me don’t warrant disciplining. If it was a DWI or a hit and run then yeah definitely.

He could be in violation of his Bail bond or his O.R. (Own Recognizance: “we trust you to come back to court on just your word alone if you agree to the following . . .”) release while he awaits trial.

oh come on. this is getting rediculous, a minor traffic stop? who here has forgot to put their insurance card in their car or didnt have their license on them when they got pulled over?
i would actually put the percentage of people that actually make legal lane changes in big cities below 30% seems like hes being targeted now by police.
i didnt realize it was Florio’s job to completely tear him to pieces. do you just sit around waiting for marshall to jay walk or forget to put on a turn signal so you can inform everyone how bad a person he is so you feel better florio/PFT?
not once have you ever mentioned anything in support of him. like his charity work hes been doing this offseason. or the fact that the girlfriend that he keeps getting in trouble with is EXTORTING HIM and the Broncos for 500,000 grand? seems like a little tidbit you would have mentioned for another athlete, oh wait you did. Remember Randy Moss? you went to bat for him and hes just as bad as Marshall.
you’re pathetic Florio/PFT.

His License hasn’t been suspended yet due to the DUI charge, and in Colorado all he has to do is show up with proof of insurence and his driving license and those charges will be dropped on the spot.
It’s the changing lanes with out signalling that will get him life in jail, lets be real here people its changing lanes with out a signal on, it happens every second in the whole driving world. To say this is even more proof he should be cut by Denver or suspended by the NFL is bull.
Now I will agree that Marshall should be suspended for 2 games due to the DUI arrest, and maybe because of all the police calls about the problems with his girlfriend-ex girlfriend what she is (but remember he was never arrested and no charges were pressed, and I still say that if the Police saw any proof that Marshall might have abused her, they would have arrested him).
The people that keep saying Marshall is the one that started the incident that caused D-Will’s death, need to get there facts streight, there have been a number of media reports that have all said that the issues started with Walker spraying the crowd, caused members of the gang to get mad and confront Walker and the group he was with (D-Will, Marshall, other broncos players and there friends) Marshall stepped up and they argued and then the gang was told to leave. Walker, D-Will, and Marshall and the group left in two cars and a few minutes later the shooting happened. Walker started the problem, Marshall stood up for his “friend” and the group and D-Will suffered cause of all of it. It was a wrong place wrong time wrong people that shouldn’t have happened, but it did to put all the blam on Marshall and none on Walker is just stupid.
Plus lets be honest PFT waste no time to jump on a story about Denver if there was any crediable storys out there that point to Marshall being at fault, they would have posted it by now.
And who ever said TO at least puts up numbers (basicly saying Marshall doesn’t), look at last season, I would say he put up numbers.
I’m not saying Marshall shouldn’t get in trouble for the DUI and staying around someone that you keep getting accused of abusing her but he should only get a 2 reg-season game max suspension.

“Myriad of domestic violence charges” WTF?????
Newsflash Florio - he’s not been convicted of ANY of these accused crimes and he’ll get off the DUI with a slap on the wrist as 98% of pro athletes do. No case has been filed on his the latest alleged domestic because they have NO case.
He’s a kid for crying out loud. 23 years old and loads of talent. He’s not the smartest. Brandon Marshall has the skills to be better than T.O. AND Randy Moss. Both of which have had MANY problems off the field.

Gipper, did you wake up this morning and decide to be an idiot today or are you like this everyday? For one thing, there was nothing in the posting that put Marshall down. It was simple straightforward reporting with an added opinion on how it might affect Marshall’s standing in the NFL. For another thing, it wasn’t posted by Florio at all. Lastly, in what kind of pathetic world would Florio actually give a crap about a nobody like Marshall to have some kind of vendetta against him?

102 Catches

Isn’t that considered “putting up numbers?”
Not bad for a second year player drafted in the fourth round. He’s an idiot, but there’s no denying his production.

He is a Doofis.
Soon he will be joining Mike Vick in the movie sequel:
“The Longest Yard 2: Enter the Doofis”.
In the film about prison inmates playing football, Brandon will damage all his extremities while driving irresponsibly down the field.
