Meh, get rid of the bus and tiki and replace them with Deion Sanders and Boomer and we got a show. Those two were great together on the CBS NFL pre-show.

I wonder if FOX ever considered putting Bill O'Reilly in the sports booth. It's probably not a good idea, he might ask Laura Bowden to take a shower with him and a loofa sponge on a Caribbean vacation.

"Too bad they didnt replace Peter King with Patrick, Peter King is a worthless bobblehead for the Patriots, and the east coast in general."

Funny, Pats fans hate King because he has been too anti-Patriots and Bill Belichick. Rumors are that he is persona non-grata in the Patriots organization because of his one sided reporting and comentary on Spygate.

Hey Mike, you know how it feels to be hated by both the Patriots fan and their haters too? Don't you?

No matter how many people they jam pack in this show, it won't change one thing - Football Night in America is no NFL Primetime. I am not a huge fan of Tom Jackson, but ESPN had it right with him and Chris Berman running down all the games with Berman doing the play by play and Jackson throwing in his thoughts.

Football Night in America is a mess with too many "analysts" most of whom really have nothing to say and two guys who don't get "it" in Costas in Olbermann running down the highlights.

I don't neccessarily agree with Olbermann's politics and I think he is pretty santicmonious on his own show, but the reason I hate him on Football Night in America is because of his straight delivery with no real emotion of passion.

Costas is too dry for football and should stick to baseball.

Patrick and Costas, Limbaugh and Olbermann...what next?...Lanny Davis and Karl Rove! Olbermann surely ranks as one of the most nauseas, disgusting, over-rated, over-inflated asses on TV. I thought he was an a-hole when he was a sports commentator; now that he has falsely-assumed the mantle of Edward R Murrow, he is just another f--ing twit.

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to intellectually honest and objective football analysis from a guy that called our fine young men and women in the military "cold-blooded killers" and "war criminals" - and then denied ever saying it.

I like Dan Patrick, but Olbermann leaves a lot to be desired as far as human beings go.

Should be great! Someone will have to tell me how it turns out.

Very well put, SamH...

The show is boring. It's the only coverage on that late so if the game is any good, I might watch it. Tiki was interesting for a minute, but now he's sort of yesterday's news.

But Olberman on the show is not an enhancement to me. He's a snot!

Anything with Olberman in it should be filed under "turd watch". I absolutely hate that arrogant @!#. SNF has a great crew with the one exception. I only watched one SNF pregame show last year, and Olberman was calling Travis Johnson "the worst person in the NFL" (after Trent 'Scarecrow' Green put a helmet in his knee), which is a play off of his news show "Worst person in America" segment. All the other announcers seemed very uncomfortable afterwards. What a 'tard. MNF announcers suck too, but Olberman is King of craptastic.

When will they get it that the highlights and analysis should just be separated. There are too many cooks in the kitchen. Lead in with all the highlights, 30-45 minutes. Then let your talking heads be talk about the action and then the upcoming game. Switching between sets and quick comments about each team is a waste of time.

I'll never understand why you have to cater to the least common denominator when you have no competition. Why do you have to have 5 million people in the studio and act like ESPN trying to fill in programming for all hours of the day? Highlights, news (like injuries, records, etc.) and interviews are not enough? There's a reason we all miss NFL Primetime.

I'm surprised to hear that there are so many Keith haters here. Anyway, like him or not, I watched most of NBC's pre-game shows, and I don't recall Olbermann bashing G W Bush once. He might have criticized Reggie Bush, but not our President.

I actually enjoyed the chemistry between Costas and Olbermann during the highlights, and did not think that NBC had to tinker with that segment. Dan Patrick's schitk is very tired and I thought he became aware that he's a bit out dated when he left the Bristol Empire. Unfortunately, the new segments might be as forced and as painful as the Wayne and Garth reunion at the 2008 MTV Movie Awards.

What the show needs is a little more intelligent analysis of the games, coaches, players, etc. and less predictable (perhaps scripted) reactions from Tiki and Jerome. Yes, they're not as rough to listen to as Michael Irvin, Emmit Smith, and the Brothers Sharpe, but so are parakeets. Tiki and Jerome don't add anything to the broadcast.

Costas is a legend and for a reason. He's objective, reasonable, and willing to ask a tough question. Collinsworth is also very good. A few years ago, I used to loathe Collinsworth b/c I thought he was an arrogant, self important analyst who rarely complimented even the best teams. Now, I think he's become more fair and he's certainly the most prepared analyst out there. You can't tell me that you'd rather see Terry and Jimmy discuss a game over Collinsworth and Costas?

One last thing, among the many differences between Olbermann and Limbaugh is that Olbermann was a sports journalist first, whereas Limbaugh obviously lacked knowledge of the game. Oh yeah, Big Rush is a racist too.

Olberman rocks. Best part of NBC broadcast. SNF has so taken over as the new MNF. I don't even bother to watch Monday night games anymore, unless the Chargers are playing. I catch the games on Sirius satellite radio. I can't stand the ESPN MNF crew.

Not a huge fan of the condensed highlight package. I loved it when it was on MNF before sportscenter and primetime ended the need for it. Even then, I dug the George Michael Sports Machine better.

So not completely En Fuego over this.

Though, I still say "Golf Shots" every time I see golf highlights. So maybe they were the best of all time. Hard to say. I lean towards Summerall and Madden/Rizutto and White/Mary Carillo...anyone really. Who doesn't love Mary Carillo?

Keith Olbemann is a communist that piggy-back's the freedom this country affords him. He ought to consider giving many apologies on his first airing.

Excellent. Between Patrick saying 'you can't stop LT, you can only hope to contain him' and Olbermann chiming in with "That is Romo's 4th touchdown pass of the game if you're scoring at home - or even if you're by yourself".

Ebersol hit the jackpot on this one.

Hm. If I watched the most boring, most condescending, poorest quality postgame show with the absolute dumbest name, then I might care.

Think NBC could cram a few more "broadcasters" into a three hour football telecast? And surely they'll thrown in a couple of female side line reporters....remember the good ole days when networks used 2...maybe 3....real sports broadcasters? Then you'll probably remember it was really the last time you actually enjoyed listening to a game.
