Marcus already had surgery to repair the C-3 vertebrae and is expected to make a full recovery, but sadly his career may be over.

Great job Florio - the Denver Donkey fans are whining that you're picking on their poor coach. What an awesome organization - trade Plummer's rights to the Bucs who then settle for a $3.5 mil cap increase while the Donkeys pick up that draft choice guy for $50K. Go Donkeys go - what can we expect next - Jay Cutler for Jeremy Stevens?

A Superbowl ring per two catches? That's some serious efficiency right there. Not even Joe Montana had such a conversion-rate. It would be a travesty if this guy doesn't get into the Hall of Fame

Why let a broken neck get in the way of another Shanahan jab? I hear yesterday in the Denver area, Shanahan changed lanes without using his turn signal...hopefully that makes it to the Saturday morning one liners.

Never miss a chance to take a shot at the Broncos and Shanahan, do ya Florio, even a weak-a$$ed contrived one like this.

Did the guy steal your girlfriend or something?

Pre-training camp lull, but we still keep reading. What is wrong with us?

Perhaps it's time to start some great big debate about how the collapse of NFL Europe/Europa/World League of Football is going to affect the NFL, and should the NFL take the CFL or Arena Football more seriously as a feeder league.

Any thoughts? Or do people just want to shout random things about the Patriots?

Why the sudden interest in the CFL Florio? Maybe a silent part owner in a CFL team? Suckin' up to ESPN and that cell phone company must be payin' off big time!

It is obvious that he has some love for the game, and was probably in it for more than the money. It is unfortunate that he did not have the career in the NFL that he, and those around him, wanted. It is even more unfortunate that he suffered the injury he did, a week ago. I would pray for Mr. Nash, and hope he has a speedy recovery.

It's good to see stories from the CFL and the AFL. As a football fan I like to hear about all leagues and players and what is going on. So far it has been a good 2nd week of the CFL with two quality games and hopefully it will continue tonight when the Roughriders secure their second win against the Lions in BC.
