I like the off-season moves at DT, they're finally learning what it takes to win in the NFL, line depth and skill. They're not stupid. They wont let one of the best raising LTs in the league (Jason Peters) go. He's still got 3 years left on his deal by the way, he'll play this year. As Bengals #85 would say, he may be dumb but he's not stupid. Lee Evans is solid and has had to deal with 1st round QB bust JP Losman for almost his entire young NFL career. If the team can stay healthy, they should have a good year. Evans will be set up for a nice payday, whether or not the new-look Bills front office will pay what it takes to keep him is another story.

Yeah despite my post I'm sure they are too but I'm just tired of waiting. Its probably going to have to wait to get the rookies deals done so you know who they're structured to do Lee's deal right. He's going to need big money and he needs to get paid first because he's only got one year left.

They did do the right thing by listening to him about the new offensive coordinator and by what they did in the off season should show a commitment to winning that he wanted. Peters is just unfortunately going to have to wait. I mean they can start talking with him but in matter of importance you have to deal with the rookies, then Evans, then finally Peters because while under-paid they have time to get him done because he has to show. The rookies can't show up without contracts and Lee only has one more year left on his deal.

I continue to say - pay Peters, but don't pay Lee Evans make him earn it this year. If he proves he is a dominant receiver, then offer him a good contract after the season. If he doesn't it then Franchise him for 2009......I think Evans is overrated. He is not a dominant number 1 receiver. He is a very good deep threat. I hope he proves me wrong with a strong 2008 and if he does, then the Bills should pay him.

Ya thy mst b gittin pissed ff! But seriously, this shows that the Bills know what they are doing and are getting their young players locked up early before the uncapped season. I'm extremely confident Lee and Jason will both get extended in due time.
