The Patriots have announced the release of defensive back Willie Andrews, a day after the news broke that he had been arrested for the second time this off-season.
The team offered no explanation for the decision to cut Andrews loose, but it was obvious that he wasn’t going to be invited to training camp. Some players are talented enough to keep their jobs despite multiple off-season arrests, but Andrews isn’t one of them.
Andrews faces charges of assault with a dangerous weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm after his fiancee said he pointed a gun at her. He was arrested in February on a marijuana possession charge.
The Patriots also announced that they have signed sixth-round draft pick Bo Ruud, a linebacker from Nebraska.

Another thing monger, your putting words into Pats’ fans mouths and you’re not smart enough to do that. So please just stop and bring something more to the discussion, something that’s got some substance.
I just love how you try to put all liars and cheats into one box. What BB did was cheating to a degree, but it’s a friggin’ game. My kids are taught NOT to emulate ANY franchise, athlete, coach, etc as that’s a fantasy world. Sorry but you really didn’t prove anything in either one of your posts other than just make yourself look dumber than you are.
Keep it coming as it’s good for comic relief. Really it is.

The reason why Brady would be treated differently is obvious. Much like the reason why the guy you work with that just got promoted and not you, it is because he’s good. Andrews, like you, is mediocre. So he’s out of here.

And we know exactly what the Patriots and their fans would have done if this was Tom Brady, and it would have been exactly what they did when they found out Belichick is a cheater: Absolutely nothing. Go ahead Pats fans, explain to your children why Belichick was treated differently by the team and fans than Andrews has been, and then explain to your children why it’s ok to be such degenerate hypocrites.
