Patriots’ season-ticket holders are beginning to receive their admission slips to the ten games that will be played at Gillette Stadium in 2008.
The ten tickets commemorate great moments in Patriots history. And a franchise that has been to six Super Bowls, winning three of them, should be able to quickly come up with a ten-pack of great moments — for example, the six AFC title game victories, the three Super Bowl wins, and the Snow Bowl/Tuck Rule game against the Raiders in the 2001 playoffs that launched the run of three Super Bowl titles in four seasons.
But, somehow, the Pats have opted to include their largest single-game margin of victory as one of the ten moments.
Possibly because the team on the wrong end of that 56-3 score was the New York Jets.
The bad blood between these two franchises is undeniable, and we’re convinced that, if that 53-point win had come at the expense of any other team, the outcome of a regular-season game from a year that didn’t even result in a playoff berth surely wouldn’t have made its way onto the face of a ticket.
Anyway, here’s the key portion of the ticket to the August 7 games between the Pats and the Ravens. Discuss amongst yourselves.

I think this might help the Jet’s fans class action against the Patriots. Using the blowout (while cheating) to stir up interest(marketing materials).

I actually think it is funny. Woody Johnson wants the Jets to be the Patriots so bad he can taste it. I’m surprised he didn’t put that on the season tickets for the NY Patrio…..ummm…. Jets’ ten greatest games.
Who really cares? Both the Jets and Patriots have and will continue to take shots at each other whenever they can.

This should be the New England Spygates top 10 Moments
1. The invention of the video camera
2. Hiring a coach who has the morals of Satan
3. Brainwashing players to thinking illegally having the upper hand by knowing what the other team is about to do is okay.
4. Convincing Fans that everything is okay by brainwashing them into thinking it is covered by saying everyone else does it.
5. The NFL’s yearning for a Dynasty no matter how it gets one.
6. Only losing a low 1st round draft pick & money for punishment, when even the Belicheat Spygates go too far.
7. Playing in the easiest division in the league, thereby guaranteeing them at least eight wins.
8. Having the leagues easiest schedule this year as the league once again tries to give the New Cheating Spygates an undefeated year.
9. The ability to make Super Bowls look close, even when they have so much more talent than the other team.
10. Having an NFL commissioner who is afraid of their head coach.
11. Bonus for all u brainwashed New Cheated Spygate Fans: Everyone is not doing it; comparing it to some other infraction is not the same, all of your Super Cheating Bowl cheats/wins will forever be tainted, and you might as well have a trophy of a huge silver asterisk instead.
Thanks

Everybody keeps talking about the Pats videotaping. Lets give the Pats their due, they went 18-1. I am a diehard Redskins fan and a die hard football fan and lets give them their damn due fellas. They were incredible under the most media scrutiny and under a magnifying glass by the NFL and despite all those distractions went undefeated in the regular season.
On the other hand, I think it is classless to print tickets displaying a past score. What is the purpose of that? Are the Pats panties still in a bunch over Mangini leaving or blowing the whistle. They draw this kind of attention to themselves because of these types of moves. How would the Patriots and their fans feel if the Bears printed 46-10 on their tickets? and the Pats were in the super bowl and got spanked like that whereas the jets were not any good. Too bad the Pats management could not take the high road on this one. Is is really considered to be one the great moments in their history when the game they won was not the superbowl or a game to keep a win streak alive? I dont know, just seems to me that this was a petty and classless move.

What is this…tee ball? They’re not supposed to disclose the score of a game that was played almost 30 years ago. It was the biggest blowout in team history. If they want to show the score, they’re entitled.
I was at that game, and it was definately memorable. It’s not like the Jets were a slouch team back then. The Pats, Dolphins, and Jets were always fighting it out for the East title in those years. This was the Joe Klecko, Mark Gastineau (sp?)era. The Jets had a pretty good defense, but Grogan always had his way with them.Grogan was always the Jets nemisis.

Not really, dumbass. If you knew anything about Pats fans you’d know that the majority of season ticket holders have held there tickets for decades. Pretty much everyone knows Steve Grogan around these parts. He’s not quite Bobby Orr status but no doubt about it he is well known.
