The Titans have the two guys on the outside of their offensive line under contract for a long time.

Earlier this year, left tackle Michael Roos inked a six-year, $43 million deal.  Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports that, on Friday, the Titans reached an agreement with right tackle David Stewart on a six-year, $38.9 million contract.

Stewart receives $10 million in guaranteed money, and a $6 million signing bonus.

He was a restricted free agent after the 2007 season, and would have been an unrestricted free agent in March 2009.  Tendered at the first-round level, Stewart was due to earn $2.01 million in 2008.

Asked recently what he’d do with the money from a long-term deal, Stewart displayed wisdom well beyond his 25 years.  “I don’t know,” he said.  “Whatever my wife tells me.”
