The Buffalo Bills have signed their third 2008 draft pick.  The latest to agree to terms is Derek Fine.

Fine, a tight end, is a fourth-round selection from Kansas.  He was the 132nd overall choice in the draft.

With the Jayhawks in 2007, Fine set a school record for receptions by a tight end, with 98.  He gained 1,009 yards and scored ten touchdowns.

(Our policy on posting blurbs about draft picks agreeing to terms is that we don’t aspire to do a separate post for every single guy who signs.  Many factors drive the analysis, including the round of the selection, whether anything else is happening at the time, whether we’re spoon-fed the information via an e-mail from a team’s P.R. department, and/or whether I feel like taking five minutes away from other valuable endeavors — NHL ‘08 for the Xbox 360 kicks ass, by the way.)
