Titans defensive end Jevon Kearse today made his first public comments since he was arrested for drunk driving over the weekend, but he didn’t have a whole lot to say.

I’m still thinking positive out here, I can’t bring it onto the football field because this is my job,” Kearse said, per Paul Kuharsky of ESPN.com. “I’m thinking positive, keeping my chin up, my head up, everything positive.”

When reporters pressed him for more details, Kearse replied the way his agent did when peppered with questions about Terrell Owens in 2005: “In the words of Drew Rosenhaus, next question.”

Titans coach Jeff Fisher, however, did say he was disappointed.

“Who wouldn’t be embarrassed regarding the incident itself?” Fisher said. “The truth will come out the facts will come out, but nevertheless we’re clearly disappointed in the fact that there was an incident.”
