Panthers receiver Dwayne Jarrett pleaded guilty on Monday to driving while impaired.
He’ll do no jail time, but he was ordered to surrender his drivers’ license, to perform 24 hours of community service, and to pay $420 in court costs.
Jarrett also will be subject to punishment under the league’s Personal Conduct Policy.
He was arrested in March, reportedly with a blood alcohol content of 0.12 percent.

Maybe the Panthers should have kept Keyshawn as a mentor…

Oh yea…well….I drink 5 gallons of hennesey, 3 beers, and take a shot of goldschlauger, then drive home from my friends house. And I usually only hit about 5 people on the way home, without getting caught. Just be smart about it.
40 for 60….you must be a moron…. which means you’re a Patriots Fan.

What the hell? $420 in court fees? Anybody else getting a DUI is paying somewhere around $1000. Are you going light on him because of a bad financial situation? Oh wait, I forgot he’s doing ok financially. Maybe its because he’s in the NFL but isn’t smart enough to memorize the playbook and get on the field and had to get called out by Steve Smith in front of a room full of reporters. Perhaps…

I’m sure he’d do the community a greater service by studying his playbook.

Maybe they should make that part of a rookie pay system - they won’t like a standard salary, but if you offset that with a free limo driver for their first four years???

I’m kind of embarassed to say that I wanted the Vikings to draft this guy last year. I’m sure glad they went with Sidney Rice instead. It looks like Jarrett is going to be a big bust.
