Yes, his comments will be percieved as directed at lanc briggs and urlacher, but he never mentioned them, and for all we know someone asked him directly "would you go about your contract in such a way". To frame it like he's pointing out the stupidness in his teamates is dissengenuous. But if he did, they deserved every bit of scrutiny he gave them and more. what were they 7-9 last year with an average defense, worst year from urlacher ever and they start complaining and holding out. Meanwhile, briggs should be more concerned with the status of his lamberguine than what Harris thinks about contract negotiations. This is blown way out of proportion.
