Reports out of Buffalo indicate that some type of deal could soon be reached in the case of pedestrian who was hit by an SUV owned by Bills running back Marshawn Lynch.
Grand jury testimony regarding the hit-and-run accident was scheduled for today but has now been postponed, and the Buffalo News reports that the Bills’ attorney believes that means prosecutors and Lynch’s attorneys are close to an agreement.
“I was planning to go to the grand jury with three team officials, and I was notified that their appearances were postponed,” said Paul J. Cambria, an attorney for the Bills. “To me, that is an indication that Marshawn Lynch, his attorney and the district attorney are moving toward a resolution of this case.”
The News also reports that Lynch’s lawyer, Michael P. Caffery, traveled to California on Thursday to meet with Lynch.
Lynch has not spoken publicly and has not told the police whether or not he was driving his SUV when it hit a woman. Three of Lynch’s teammates were previously scheduled to testify before the grand jury, but their appearances were also postponed.
The woman who was hit was treated at a local hospital and has hired two top personal injury attorneys to represent her in a potential suit against Lynch.

With the money he’s going to have to pay this woman, he could have hired a chauffeur for a decade. DUMB-ASS!

Lynch’s “shrugging silently” technique is a direct offshoot of the Lance Briggs “What car??” school of coping with law enforcement.

I’m sure this is how hit-and-run cases involving John Q. Public normally proceed, right?

Thoughts of the woman hit by Marshawn Lynch’s SUV, “CHING, CHING, CHING! JACK POT!”
This is probably the best thing that has ever happened to her.

Think of it this way…most football players (other than the inflated rookies that are drafted in the top five) have to have the equivalent of about 100 hit and runs (them being the ones that are hit) to get some nice change.
Maybe she’ll rake in millions with only having to go through it once.
How’s that for the regular person getting the better of it?

legal ramification on this case.what about the passengers
in the car,can they be charged with aiding and abeting

No matter what she’s due something…running off after you hit someone is only allowed on the football field.
In all seriousness thank God whoever did this didn’t kill her.
