Updating prior reports, the Buffalo News reports that Bills running back Marshawn Lynch is expected to plead guilty next week in relation to the hit-and-run incident from May 31 that left a woman injured.

The precise charge is unclear, but it’ll be no more than a misdemeanor offense.

Still, the guilty plea will subject Lynch to punishment pursuant to the league’s Personal Conduct Policy.

A final resolution is expected by the middle of next week.  Contrary to an item on WBEN.com, the Buffalo News reports that Lynch has acknowledged not only that he was behind the wheel, but that he was driving the car on the evening in question.
