Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw, a 2007 rookie who came on strong during the team’s improbable playoff run, is behind bars due to an “undisclosed probation violation.”
As a freshman, Bradshaw was booted from the University of Virginia football program after being nabbed for underage drinking, running from cops, and ending up on the wrong end of a cloud of pepper spray.
At Marshall, he was placed on probation for two years after pleading guilty to stealing a Playstation 2 from an unlocked dorm room.
Bradshaw has been confined to the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail since Saturday, June 15.

Wow…It appears that Bradshaw went to the wrong WV college. With his criminal behavior, he should have attended WVU. He fits right in with PacMan, Chris Henry, Quincy Wilson, and the like…

…just a hunch. As a Bucs fan I remember 2002 and fully expecting a repeat watching it slowly unravel as their were contract disputes and player arrests… In ‘02 it was Michael Pittman and Dwight Smith getting arrested while Brad Johnson was upset about his contract.
It’s not the loss of the player as much as it is the distraction caused by the arrest… or contract squabble (Burress).
