Raiders receiver Javon Walker has released a statement regarding his recent robbery and hospitalization.
The statement, released by his agent to the Associated Press (crap, I just cost myself $12.50), indicates that Walker is in a “private environment” (whatever that means) and that his recovery from a concussion and “facial injuries” is continuing.
The statement doesn’t attempt to explain what happened to Walker, who reportedly told TheDirty.com on Tuesday that he was knocked unconscious by robbers who showed up at his hotel room, dragged to a car (which he somehow realized was happening while unconscious), and then left in a street.
As a reader pointed out, didn’t the door have a peep hole? Then again, maybe Walker reversed the peep hole so that he wouldn’t be jacked with a sock full of pennies upon entering his room.

florio have you ever been knocked unconscious? i can tell you from personal experience ((several times, by violence {lead pipe/fist/boot} & by accident {falling off a beam onto a cement floor, ex-gf who plays minigolf like an epilectic})) that when you get KOed you have almost all of your senses still in tact, its just that its working @maybe 10% efficency. I could hear all of the ‘taunts’ &/or crying/apologies while unconscious, its just that it was very muffled… like when a tv has a kinda ‘mostly mute’ setting before the full mute setting. I could feel friends shaking me or enemies stomping me just very very lightly. Your senses work, just obviously not sight & i dont know about scent b/c i never had smelling salts but i’d assume yes since they work.
So i wasnt trying to be a **** but it is not far-fetched @all to assume that, yes actually he could (did) notice what happened to him while KOed. You can tell [slightly] whats going on around/to you, you just cannot do anything about it. Trust me, i know.

billsfanaddict is correct. When you are unconscious (or have fainted), you can still hear everything and are aware of movement, but you’re out of it. You remember some or all of it once you have your wits about you. And keep in mind, Walker probably had some surgery and is on antibiotics and pain killers, too. So I’m sure his memory is hazy as well.

So let’s get this right….
Someone robbed Walker of 3K cash and 100K jewelry. From his hotel room?
Had to be someone who knew him personally, or that knew one of his close associates. Hotels don’t just give out room numbers.
Also how did they drag him through a hotel casino without anyone noticing or a casino security camera catching it? ( yes I assume that since it is Vegas and he had that much cash the Hotel has a casino)

Hey Florio, you better hope that Seinfeld doesn’t see that AP article. If he starts looking for $12.50 every time you make a reference you could be in trouble.

A real insight to peoples’ character is the glee at which they respond when something bad happens to someone. Look how glad the moderators and posters get when things happen to these NFL players.

Florio have you ever been knocked unconscious?
I have, several times… A shotput, a cinder block, a cue ball in a sock, the police hitting me with a bat, George Mureson stomping on my head in a barfight, etc…
when you get KOed you have none of your senses still in tact, and it’s definitely working at 0% efficiency.
I couldn’t hear all of the ‘taunts’ &/or crying/apologies while unconscious, I heard nothing… hence the term “knocked out”
that’s the crazy thing about being “KO’d”. You can’t tell whats going on around/to you, and you cannot do anything about it. Because you are knocked out. And knocked out people are unconscious.
Trust me, i know.

billsfan do you know what the word “unconscious” means? let me save you the trouble of looking it up…”not knowing or perceiving, unaware, free from self awareness”. in a nutshell it means YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON while you are UNCONSCIOUS!! and you sound about as smart as walker with that bs you have been knocked “UNCONSCIOUS” that many times in your life!

There is a very clear cut line between being knocked out and being dazed. Knocked out is exactly what it says, you are out. No recollection no muffled noises, nothing. J-Walk is an idiot to even think someone would believe such a stupid story. I am hoping in a huge way that the truth on this one actually gets out and we get to BBQ him for telling such a dumb story…although by then I’m sure he’ll remember it was seven guys, and they were all 7ft tall and they had UZI’s not hand guns and they were all Ninjas who could fly…but he fought as hard as he could there were simply just too many of them….Bottom line is that he probably ran his mouth, went outside with someone and got knocked out and rolled like a beeotch.

Florio have you ever been knocked unconscious?
I have, several times… boulder fell on my head, I fell off a cliff chasing a road runner, walked into what I thought was a painted tunnel on a mountainside only to be hit be a REAL TRAIN, blown up by TNT, and knocked out by various products from the ACME corp.(they’ll be hearing from my lawyer).
When you get KOed you have just enough of your senses still intact to put a tiny umbrella over your hear before the anvil drops from the sky and hits you in the head. I’d say about 5% efficiency.
I couldn’t hear all of the loony tunes that were playing while unconscious, but I was able to hold up small signs that said what I couldn’t verbalize, like “Uh Oh”, “Ouch!”, and “Help!. Also I could vaugly make out the small stars that were going around my head.
You can tell whats going on around/to you, you just cannot do anything about it.

look i know noone wants to beleive this but
Police Lt. Clinton Nichols told AP that detectives had spoken with Walker on Monday and planned to speak to him again Tuesday evening. Hard Rock Hotel and Casino spokeswoman Dorian Contrell told the AP that Walker left the club Body English at the Hard Rock about 3:30 a.m. Monday. Police found Walker at the intersection of Koval Lane and Winnick Avenue a little less than four hours later.
if he left at 330.. theres no way he took 4 hours on teh street to get back to his hotel.. he was def back at hotel if he wasnt found until 7:30am when he left club at 3:30am

If his story turns out to be true, i think Florio should apologize on this web site for basically calling Walker a dumb idiot when he was still recovering from surgery from getting his face beat. only Florio would call out a player and talk about how dumb he is when he just got beat down the night before. cause we all know how this website is more interested is talking about players personals lives than football news.

seems to me like people that have never experienced it are all po’ed about what i said and that the only other person to be ko’ed agrees with me completely, why is that do u think?
yo pat in philly & vincelombardi u dont have to live any lifestyle to have a propensity for blacking out when smashed violently, or have you not heard of Trent Green or Muhhammad Ali. make an accident on a construction site a couple of times, play football or be a boxer, stand behind ur idiot gf when she (for some ungodly reason) swings a putter like john daly, trying to be funny and u’ll find urself more apt to blackouts. Once someone has been ko’ed a couple of times ur brain becomes more susceptible to those types of injuries.
VINCE explain to me why you think smelling salts work if your senses (occording to you) are completely shutoff (which they arent)? You cant b/c ur pocket dictionary cant explain to you. But i did, i never said you could move or speak or think/equate things but you ab-so-lutely can sense whats happening around you.

As far as being “unconsciou,” even many patients in a coma (that later become conscious) will tell you things they heard you say while they were in the coma.

dude look at what you wrote and how you wrote it the 1st time. you’re trying to sound hard on the internet. look at how many people mocked you
i could seriously care less what its like to be knocked out, unconscious, comatosed, etc. you just sound like a 13rd year old trying to impress his friends at lunch. a simple “sometimes people who are knocked out can sense things going on around them but can’t react, its happened to me” would have sufficed, instead of your long winded I got knocked out 18 times because I’m apparently I’m unlucky and my girlfriend can’t hold a long rod with a peice at the end.
