Raiders receiver Javon Walker has released a statement regarding his recent robbery and hospitalization.

The statement, released by his agent to the Associated Press (crap, I just cost myself $12.50), indicates that Walker is in a “private environment” (whatever that means) and that his recovery from a concussion and “facial injuries” is continuing.

The statement doesn’t attempt to explain what happened to Walker, who reportedly told TheDirty.com on Tuesday that he was knocked unconscious by robbers who showed up at his hotel room, dragged to a car (which he somehow realized was happening while unconscious), and then left in a street.

As a reader pointed out, didn’t the door have a peep hole?  Then again, maybe Walker reversed the peep hole so that he wouldn’t be jacked with a sock full of pennies upon entering his room.
