Yeah, a typo was made and there’s nothing wrong with pointing it out, but being the 4th one to do it a full 14 minutes after the 1st person did, well that just brings nothing to the table. Nice sleuthing, dldove77.

wow i’m glad absolutely every comment before mine made sure the typo was recognized…

let’s all just think for a second. franchise tag = bad for player.

yeah, mikchael made a typo, but it was easy to understand what he meant, so i’m not sure if everyone needed to jump on it like that.

I read that and then was confused by the contradictory statement later saying:

“‘require Albert to sign the tender but in return the Titans would agree not to use the franchise tag on him again next year’”

Typo alert. Mike, you might want to look at your first sentence again. So Haynesworth will sign as long as the Titans guarantee he will get franchised again next year? Can they do that? Can he ask that they pay him for both years now?

Mike, what I think you were trying to say is that he would sign if the Titans agreed NOT to franchise him next year.
