A few weeks ago, Anita Hamilton of Time contacted me out of the blue to ask a few basic questions about the site.  She mentioned that PFT was being considered for something or other (either she was being intentionally vague or the ADD had kicked in by that point in the conversation).

Hearing nothing further since then, I assumed that we didn’t get whatever it was that we might be getting.

As usual, I assumed wrong.

Somehow, we’ve been named among the 50 best web sites by Time.com.  At No. 15.  

To my knowledge, we neither bribed nor threatened anyone.  So I’m not quite sure how it happened. 

“The site scours news from TV and the Web (including Yahoo! Sports, ESPN, and NFL Network) then adds its own highly entertaining (and highly opinionated) spin,” Hamilton writes.  (We also break news once in a while.  Like when Terry Bradshaw died.)

Does the lady with the headset still send you one of those phones when you order a subscription?
