The Sprint Instinct will be available on Friday, June 20.  (We’ve mentioned it once or twice lately.)

So how does it stack up to the “new” version of that “other” phone?  According to a review from the Associated Press, the Instinct has several advantages over that “other” phone.

The Instinct is smaller.

The Instinct records video.

The Instinct has picture messaging.

The Instinct has “haptic feedback,” which means that the touch screen vibrates when touched.

The Instinct has navigation software that provides turn-by-turn directions.

The Instinct has streaming TV.

The Instinct has a removable battery, and it comes with a spare.  (The “other” phone amazingly doesn’t.)

The Instinct can send music to stereo headsets via Bluetooth.

Again, the Instinct will be available on June 20.  It’s expected to cost $199.  For more info, click here.

Sprint, by the way, is the official telecommunications partner of ProFootballTalk.
