Early word is that as many as eight teams have shown interest in free-agent center LeCharles Bentley, who was released earlier this week by the Browns.
We name a couple of names in this PFTV entry regarding the Bentley situation.
Meanwhile, we’ve heard that Bentley’s decision to ask for his release didn’t crystallize until his experiences at practice with the Browns. At one point during practice, Bentley was receiving the snaps from one of the other centers.
Still, it’s becoming more and more clear that the decision was truly mutual, and that it simply was time for Bentley to move on.

Chargers, Dolphins, Rams, up to five other teams not named. No mention of the Raiders. The Raiders don’t have any money to pursue Bentley. You can thank uncle Al for that.

Again Bently will get a veteran Min Contract with Second year option at best. The rams are the only team that would sign him now to multiple contract. Get real here, Cleveland would not of cut him unless there is something wrong with the knee. They would have traded him to a team for draft pick towards the end if training camp or in this year pre-season for a 5th or 6th round draft pick easy. The knee isn’t 100 %.

I could not play the video. But I would imagine that if within the next week he could call a press conference for a driveway work out, go on a couple of benders and drive around town and light up a local strip club he could have a work out with Dallas by July 1.
