If they knew he was well enough to play and had no risk of missing game time, they have no need to disclose his condition. Just because he knew he'd need offseason injury to eliminate the pain, doesn't mean he was ever less likely to miss a down. Everything good that they've ever done has been done before and done better. Undefeated in the regular season? Dolphins did that AND won the Super Bowl. Three Super Bowl wins in four years? Cowboys did it in the 90's, no videotaped signals needed, thanks. Of course the Cowboys have TWO MORE championships than the Patriots do to go along with the first ever to win three of four Super Bowls thing. Then of course the Steelers and 49ers have 5 each, and the Steelers have the four Super Bowls of six thing that the Patriots can't match. What else have the Pats accomplished?
