Kenny Stabler, the former Raiders quarterback who won the league MVP award in 1974 and guided the Raiders to victory in Super Bowl XI, was arrested and charged with DUI Sunday in Robertsdale, Alabama.

According to the Press-Register, Stabler has pleaded guilty or no contest to DUI at least twice before.

Police said Stabler (who grew up in Alabama, was a star quarterback for the Crimson Tide and is now the school’s radio analyst) was pulled over for a traffic violation on Alabama 59, taken into custody and released from jail after posting $1,000 bond.

Our friends at Sports by Brooks have Stabler’s mug shot.
