So, Jason Peter is writing a book about his experience with getting stoned…my question is…why? Obviously to make a buck but the real question should be…outside his family (who must be real proud), who cares? I mean, sure, glad ya didn’t kick the bucket Jason but I’ve never bought this “I’m doing it to show kids what can happen when ya take 100 pills a day” BS….

Why is David Tyree writing a book? No one cares what a second rate WR does on the field, let alone on AND off the field.

Williamson caught thousands of balls in practice with the Vikings. Give him credit for class though, in contrast to Erasmus James.

Another example of why NY players don’t like playing for the Jets… Mangini’s a TOOL! Gholston couldn’t attend OTA’s because of the stoopid NCAA rule about classes still in session… why put VG on the spot? Embarrassing your #1 pick on day one accomplished what?

“Jets coach Eric Mangini tested LB Vernon Gholston to see if he could name all 84 of his teammates.”
Yes, teamwork needs to be stressed and is key, even more so for a football team. But seriously, there are better things to learn when playing catchup. Which isn’t even his fault.
“Gholston looked a bit lost at times Friday, especially in pass coverage. ”
Ask for comment about being lost at times, he said I was still working on the names of my teammates, I only got 70 out of 84 and Mangidoit said I better get all 84 soon.

If character counts in any way, shape, or form… Warren “Cheap Shot” Sapp will never get into the hall of fame. I hate the Packers, but after the shot he put on Chad Clifton, and the subsequent tirade at Mike Sherman, he pretty much sealed his fate as nothing more than a talented thug as far as most of the NFL fanbase is concerned.

Dolphins management obviously knows where to get good advice, lol.

Also, good correction on the Saints/McCray line Florio… The article writer is really dumb to overlook the whole Drew Brees signing impact, maybe one of the best FA signings of ANY team in terms of what he brought to the table. No way you compare Brees to any DL signing, a QB is a lot harder to find, especially franchise ones.
Drew Brees will be a HOFer before its all said and done. In terms of total QBing he’s easily a 10. I’d even argue he’s a better team leader than Brady and Manning.

Latest quote from Bruschi:
“Am I a guy who asks rhetorical questions and then answers them? Yes. Is this a technique to get across what I want communicated but at the same time give the impression I’m open to being interviewed? You betcha. Does anyone outside of the Boston area give a crap what I have to say? Probably not, I’m pretty much a chest-thumping douchebag.”
