Former NFL receiver David Boston, a top-ten pick in the 1999 draft, landed with the Toronto Argonauts earlier this year after falling off the radar of American football.
However, Boston’s time in Canada apparently will be limited.
Boston reportedly has a stress fracture in his foot, and the Argonauts are operating under the impression that Boston’s ability to play this season is doubtful.
Boston has opted against surgery in the hopes that he’ll eventually be able to perform. Former NFL receivers Patrick Johnson and Bethel Johnson are also jockeying for roster spots with the Argonauts.

Well if David Boston can’t play in Canada. He might want to give the Alaska Wilds a try.

Given how rocked up he got at the end of his NFL career and the likely decrease in speed that went with it, maybe he should consider a position change to something like linebacker. He definitely has hands and is certainly almost big enough to play the position.

I love Canada. The CFL is home to every wide receiver who was only good only in Madden.

Let me remind you before his suspension, he was top notch. When in AZ and landing with the Chargers was his prime. Chargers got something for him, and Miami I do believed got the errrrr billy goat’s head up their hinnies for the trade. We will never know where his talent lyed and the drugs pumped him up in value. So many wides have had their carrers pumped up in value to end in a flash with not even making a Canadian Team. What 3 names already named this year alone?
