Dolphins cornerback Michael Lehan had to be helped off the field after injuring his right ankle near the end of Wednesday’s organized team activity.

He was taken for tests at the hospital, results not yet known, but it doesn’t sound too good. The injury occurred when Lehan and Derek Hagan each went up for a high throw. Neither came down with the ball and Lehan was described by the Miami Herald as “unable to move his right leg, which was involuntarily crossed over his left.”

Lehan started 14 games for the Dolphins last season and was expected to battle Andre’ Goodman and Travis Daniels for the spot opposite Will Allen this season.
