I would suspect many of us have taken a sick day because of a hangover at one time or another. Now granted this guy is being paid millions of dollars to be ontime, why are we surprised by stories like this? Why is it news worthy? He is a football player, he drank too much and had a hangover. Now if he had a DUI, or some offense related to alcohol it is news worthy, but to me this falls into the same category as when a player misses a practice due to funeral, or child birth.
