In a move that could signal that the Giants are ready to move on without Michael Strahan, veteran defensive end Renaldo Wynn has agreed to terms with the team.
Wynn was a first-round pick of the Jaguars in 1997, when Giants coach Tom Coughlin was the head coach in Jacksonville. After five seasons with the Jags, Wynn signed with the Redskins.
He also spent five seasons in D.C., starting every game for each of his first three seasons. After 2006, he signed with the Saints.
Wynn visited the Giants last month, but didn’t sign a deal.

Well, not a bad move for an extra backup. Even if Strahan retires, we still have Osi and Tuck.

now strahan has time to get that fat gap fixed.
i also heard down in Tampa, that tiki barber wants to make a comeback with the bucs, he wants to play one last season with his brother Ronde, and Bruce Allen & Gruden are apparently open to the idea since they are hosting the 2009 superbowl and are willing to pull any strings to get there, hence the signing of Jerramy Stevens. I also heard that they are working behind the scenes for a Jason Taylor trade to sure up the the D-Line.
