Last month the Tennessee Titans drafted Purdue linebacker Stanford Keglar, who was facing charges of battery, false informing, and disorderly conduct stemming from a bar fight in Indiana last year.
Keglar’s agent said he expected the charges to be dropped, and now the Tennessean reports that the charges will, in fact, be dismissed once Keglar completes 20 hours of community service.
“I think he is real happy not to have this be a distraction. Stanford is a very focused and dedicated individual so to have this behind him is a relief,” agent Jeff Chilcoat told the Tennessean. “This has all been agreed to. Stanford, in order to avoid further time on this, does 20 hours of community service and then they drop the charges. It goes away.”
According to Chilcoat, Keglar agreed to a “withheld prosecution” in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. Chilcoat said the agreement does not involve any admission of guilt.
NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said the league would look into the matter. Chilcoat said he does not expect Keglar to face any league discipline.

TURD! A big steaming heap of Titan turd. He probably won’t flush down the toilet either.

20 hours???? That is nothing. If he fails to complete his community service — and he will because he will claim being too busy as a pro-football player — he will deserve to get punished. He lucked out big time with such a light sentence.

Shouldn’t teams get more Turd points if they knowingly draft a turd? I mean they are voluntarily bringing them in!!

How can the league punish him when this all happened before he was drafted? And if he hasn’t signed a contract yet, is he even considered to be in the NFL yet?
