Though he had injury problems, he worked hard (even after being rushed back last season by Martz) and was a team player. I was baffled and frustrated when I heard the Lions cut him back in March. I still don't understand what they gained by letting him go. He was still signed to a late first-round rookie contract. As always, the Lions are going to get what they deserve out of this. I think Jones will be a starter on another team. I am a life-long (and long-suffering) Lions fan and I have nothing but respect and admiration for Kevin Jones.
